Parrys Raines has an extensive work experience in the field of sustainability and climate change. They currently work as an ESG Asia Associate at Blackstone. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Sustainability at Greener. Parrys also served as a Climate Risk Advisor at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and as a Senior Consultant in Climate Change and Sustainability Services at EY.

In addition to their corporate roles, Parrys has been actively involved in various organizations and initiatives. They founded Climate Girl at the age of 14, aiming to educate young people about sustainability and provide a platform for sharing ideas and stories. They also served as a Youth Ambassador for OzHarvest, Australia's leading food rescue organization, and as a Non-Executive Director for the Future Business Council, driving sustainable business growth in Australia.

Parrys furthered their education in 2021 by attending the Alternative Investments Course at Harvard Business School. Parrys is currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong, starting in 2022. Parrys also holds certifications as a Justice of the Peace from the NSW Government and in Scuba Diving from PADI.
