John Alexander Rowley has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. John Alexander is currently the Head of Digital Merchandising & eCommerce at Greene King, a leading pub retailer and brewer in the UK. Their role involves managing the digital merchandising and eCommerce operations for over 2,700 pubs, restaurants, and hotels.
Prior to their current role, they worked at Ferrero, the third-largest confectionery company in the world, where they served as the Head of Direct To Consumer Ecommerce for the UK and Ireland. In this position, they led a cross-functional team and was responsible for defining and implementing the D2C strategy. John Alexander also managed the P&L, digital marketing, operations, and customer experience for the D2C channel.
Before Ferrero, John held various digital marketing roles, including Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Search & Affiliates Manager at Romax Technology and EvoEnergy respectively. At Romax Technology, they managed the global digital marketing strategy and introduced an acquisition strategy. At EvoEnergy, they oversaw the day-to-day running of digital campaigns for renewable energy solutions.
John started their career at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Ecommerce Marketing Executive.

John Alexander Rowley obtained a BSc(Honours) degree in Computer Science with Marketing & Business from Nottingham Trent University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they have a certification as a Google Qualified Partner, obtained in 2018 from Google.
