Growing up in White Plains, Greg was first introduced to the Greenburgh Nature Center when his Grandmother took him to Nature Storytime in the 1980s. Fast forward a few decades, while in pursuit of an internship to complete his BS in Environmental Science from SUNY Oneonta, his Grandmother again pointed him in the direction of the Nature Center. Since joining the staff as an intern in 2008, Greg has held many positions at the Greenburgh Nature Center and is currently our Director of Naturalist Programs and resident Apiarist. Greg spends most of his free time in the Lake George region of upstate New York, and is a lifelong camper, hiker, fisherman, canoer, skier, and all around outdoor enthusiast. As a special note, the Greenburgh Nature Center is also where Greg met his wife; who was the intern coordinator and the person who hired him in 2008. Years later they were married, surrounded not only by friends and family, but also some of the nature center animals, including Bigfoot, Elvis, and Shadow.
