Eric DeVito currently serves as the Chief Transactions & Legal Officer at Greenberg Gibbons Commercial since January 2019. With extensive experience in legal and regulatory matters, Eric previously held the position of Principal at Stone Mattheis Xenopoulos & Brew, PC, from May 2011 to December 2021, focusing on energy, general real estate, land use and zoning, lobbying, and contracts. Additionally, Eric contributed to the academic field as a Guest Lecturer in the Urban Studies & Planning Program at the University of Maryland from March 2013 to December 2017, teaching legal concepts of land use planning to master's students. Prior roles include Vice President and General Counsel at Ribera Development, LLC, and Of Counsel at Brickfield Burchette Ritts & Stone, PC, as well as a Senior Tax Accountant at Arthur Andersen. Eric holds a JD with honors from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a summa cum laude BSBA in Accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
