Maarten Baas is a professional with diverse experience in various industries, currently serving as a Sales Trader and Consultant in Environmental Commodities at Green Steps since January 2024. In this role, Maarten focuses on assisting businesses in reducing their carbon footprint through climate action plans and transitioning to renewable energy sources. Prior to this, Maarten worked as an Account Executive at Piggy, contributing to the development of SaaS loyalty solutions. As a Co-Founder of De Borrelbox, efforts were directed towards preventing food waste and supporting entrepreneurs in this cause. Additionally, Maarten held the position of VR Expert at VR Owl, engaging in virtual and augmented reality projects for events globally. Educationally, Maarten holds a Bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management from Hotel Management School Leeuwarden at NHL Stenden, complemented by earlier education at Utrechts Stedelijk Gymnasium.
