Jon Powers is a seasoned professional in the clean energy sector with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles. As Co-Founder of CleanCapital since January 2016, Jon focuses on facilitating direct investment in clean energy projects. Jon also owns Pearl Creek Ventures, providing advisory services for the clean energy transition, while serving on the Board of Directors for EDF Action, which advocates for environmental protections. In addition, Jon is a Board member for REVERB and Project Green Schools, promoting environmental action and developing future leaders. Previous roles include Managing Director of Public Sector Business Development at Bloom Energy and Federal Chief Sustainability Officer at the White House Council on Environmental Quality under President Obama. Jon holds a Master’s degree in Global Security Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Education and History from John Carroll University.
