Amanda Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2022. Amanda began their career at TJX as a Customer Service Cashier, where they excelled in handling customer concerns and achieved recognition as Employee of the Month multiple times. Amanda also worked as an Assist Merchandiser Coordinator at TJX. In 2013, they interned as an Employment Specialist at Green River Community College, assisting students and community members with job search and resume writing. In 2014, Amanda joined Green River College as a Data Assistant, responsible for maintaining and updating case files and databases. Amanda later became a Workforce Education Coordinator at the college, where they oversaw various programs and developed relationships with community partners. Currently, Amanda holds the position of Director of Workforce Education at Green River College, overseeing the operations and programs of the department.
Amanda Thomas completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Concordia University Chicago in 2020. Prior to that, they earned their first MBA degree with a specialization in Project Management from Concordia University-Portland between 2018 and 2020. Earlier, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Management with a minor in Marketing from Concordia University-Portland, graduating in 2014.
