David Adams is the current General Manager at Green Hills Communications. Prior to this, they held the position of VP, Operations at Ritter Communications from September 2007 to January 2012. In this role, they were responsible for Sales, Customer Care, I&R, Construction, Engineering, and Inventory Management for $22 million Operating Division of Ritter Communications.

Adams was recruited by the President to lead a $15.7 million upgrade to the newly acquired Cable TV facilities. David led a team to construct a new fiber-deep infrastructure that included over 800 plant miles in 35 rural markets to serve 15,000 customers across NE Arkansas.

Adams also led a culture change initiative to integrate the ILEC and Cable TV teams. David implemented cross-training to all frontline staff members, implemented metrics and KPIs, and built a team focused on providing first-in-class service.

Under Adams' leadership, new services were launched such as digital phone service across the HFC system, high definition programming, DOCSIS 3.0 and faster internet access speeds, and new services to small and medium-sized businesses.

Adams also created a Telecommunications Program with Arkansas State University, which provides certification in the installation of rural telecommunications services. This addressed recruiting challenges by establishing a pool of experienced candidates to local telecom and broadband providers, including Ritter.

David Adams has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Memphis.
