Adedoyin Adeleke

Adedoyin Adeleke, PhD, is an experienced leader in sustainable energy and environmental policy, currently serving as the Executive Director of Green Growth Hub since November 2016. Adeleke initiated the "Mentoring for Research Programme," which has successfully mentored 173 graduate students across 57 African universities, and leads the Environmental Education Programme aimed at empowering secondary students to address local environmental challenges. As a Contributing Author for the UN Environment Programme's GEO-7 Report, Adeleke focuses on integrating social, economic, and environmental factors in policy assessment. Additional roles include Fellow at SESAM Polimi, independent consulting, and contributions to organizations such as Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century and RenewableEnergyWorld.com. Educational credentials include a PhD in Energy from Politecnico di Milano and a Master's in Energy Studies from the University of Ibadan.
