Mira Sternstein has a range of work experience. Starting in 2015, they worked as Customer Service Staff at Die Weinlaube Grünberg, where they constructed sales booths and served goods at medieval markets. In 2017, they completed an internship in Neuropathology at UKGM, learning about histology and conducting microscopic diagnostics. In 2018, Mira interned at the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, focusing on neurovirology and analyzing the importance of RAMP1 in the context of Rabies virus infection. Additionally, they worked as a tutor at the same institute, supervising students and teaching them experimental techniques. In 2019, they began working as Customer Service Staff at Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, a theater in Germany. In 2021, Mira worked as a Master Thesis Student at Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf, where they analyzed the effects of a combination drug treatment on triple-negative breast cancer cells. In 2022, they worked as Customer Service Staff at STUDENTpartout, and in 2023, they joined Green Elephant Biotech as a Science Communication Associate.
Mira Sternstein has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from The Philipp University of Marburg. Mira pursued this degree from 2015 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Mira enrolled in the University of Düsseldorf, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biomedicine. This program spans from 2019 to 2023. In 2021, they also attended Udmurt State University for a summer school program, where they obtained a certificate in Environmental Biology and Language.
