Samuel Casasola Zamora has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Samuel started their career as an Information Analyst at the Government, State of Queretaro, Mexico in 2012. From there, they moved on to work as a Research and Development Manager at BiotecnologÃa e Innovación Industrial S. de R.L. de C.V. for six years. In 2015, they took on the role of Event Coordinator at Innovation Forum Edinburgh while also serving as Cultural Officer at MEXSOC UK. In 2017, they became a Tech Transfer Intern at Edinburgh Innovations. Samuel joined Green Bioactives in 2019, initially as the Director of Operations at Green Bioactived Limited before transitioning to the role of Production Lead. Samuel'sexpertise and experience in operations and production management have been utilized in their current role.
Samuel Casasola Zamora pursued their education in the field of Biology, with a focus on plant sciences. From 2006 to 2011, they attended Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, with a minor specialization in Plant Biotechnology.
Continuing their academic journey, Samuel enrolled in The University of Edinburgh and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from 2013 to 2014. Building on this foundation, they further pursued their studies at the same institution, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell and Molecular Biology within the realm of Plant Sciences from 2014 to 2018.
