Matthew Elmes, PhD, serves as the Laboratory Director and Associate Laboratory Director at Green Analytics, LLC since March 2023. Concurrently, Elmes is an Adjunct Professor at Stony Brook University, where the course BIO231 on cannabis is taught. As the Founder of CannaScience Consulting since October 2021, Elmes has also held roles as Scientific Director and Director of New Product Development at CannaCraft from April 2019 to September 2021. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at Artelo Biosciences and Stony Brook University, and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Stony Brook University, focusing on cannabinoid transport and metabolism. Elmes's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Biological Science and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Binghamton University.
