Akista Haywood is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as a Senior Accountant at the Greater Washington Community Foundation since August 2020. Previously, Akista held the position of Payroll Manager at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, where responsibilities included managing payroll for over 850 employees and supervising staff. Prior experience includes roles as a Payroll Analyst at The GW Medical Faculty Associates and an Accounting Analyst-Disbursements at the Society for Human Resource Management. Akista began the career as a Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Assistant at the International Dairy Foods Association.
