Scott Alfonse is the current Executive Director at Greater New Bedford Regional Refuse Management District. Prior to this, they were the Director of Environmental Stewardship for the City of New Bedford from December 1989 to January 2012. Alfonse has also worked as an Environmental Planner for GHR Engineering from January 1985 to December 1989.

Scott Alfonse earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning from Westfield State University.
