Simon Depledge currently serves as a Project Support Officer at Greater Manchester Combined Authority, contributing to the Information Governance team and executing projects aligned with GMCA's Information Strategy since June 2023. Prior to this role, Simon was the Confidentiality Advisory Group Assistant at the Health Research Authority from May 2017 to June 2023. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Executive at Adelphi Group, which involved market research for pharmaceutical companies, and freelancing in academic writing and proofreading. Simon also held a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate position at Age UK Lancashire, supporting a collaborative research initiative with the University of Central Lancashire, alongside previous roles as a Support Worker at Calderstones NHS Trust and a Volunteer with Leonard Cheshire Homes in Japan. Simon earned a Masters of Research in Psychology from The University of Manchester and holds degrees in Japanese Language and Human Psychology from Macclesfield College and De Montfort University, respectively.
