Joanne Beese is a seasoned analyst with extensive experience in law enforcement and public protection research. Currently serving as the Lead Analyst at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since April 2017, Joanne previously held the role of Principal Researcher in the Police and Crime domain with the Public Protection Research Team during a secondment from Greater Manchester Police from April 2012 to March 2017. Joanne's analytical journey began at Greater Manchester Police in August 1996, progressing from various administrative and analytical roles to Strategic Analytical Partnership Coordinator for Greater Manchester Against Crime. Joanne holds a Master of Science in Digital and Technology Solutions, specializing in Data Analytics, from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in December 2021.
