Eamonn Boylan is an accomplished public sector leader with extensive experience in executive roles. Currently serving as the Chief Executive of Greater Manchester Combined Authority since April 2017, Eamonn has previously led Stockport Council as Chief Executive from April 2010 to April 2017, where responsibilities included being Head of Paid Service and a member of the Greater Manchester Wider Leadership Team focused on Housing, Planning, and Investment. Prior to this, Eamonn held the position of Deputy Chief Executive at the Homes and Communities Agency from 2008 to 2010, overseeing significant investment and regeneration programs across Northern regions and the East of England. Eamonn's career also includes a tenure as Deputy Chief Executive at Manchester City Council from 1999 to 2008, where the focus was on regeneration, economic development, and various essential services. Eamonn holds a BA (Hons) in English and American Literature from The University of Manchester.
