Hillary Caron currently serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Hillary worked as a Congressional Affairs Specialist at the FDA, focusing on Congressional Appropriations from September 2022 to May 2023. Experience in the U.S. House of Representatives includes roles as Legislative Director for Congressman Andy Kim and Assistant Speaker Ben Ray Luján, as well as Legislative Counsel for Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi. Earlier positions include Senior Policy Associate at the Center for Science in the Public Interest and various roles at the USDA, culminating as Senior Advisor to the Secretary for Food and Nutrition. Hillary also interned at the Partnership for a Healthier America and served as a Legislative Aide in the U.S. Senate.
