Russ Sadler has extensive work experience in the healthcare and construction industries. Russ started their career at John C Mellema, Inc. as a Land Surveyor Construction from 1994 to 1997. Russ then worked at Fisher Collins & Carter as a Land Surveyor / CAD Operator from 1997 to 1999. After that, they joined Personal Cadd Svc as a Senior CAD Designer/Project Manager from 1999 to 2005.
In 2005, Russ joined MedStar Union Memorial Hospital as a Construction Project Manager, and later became the Manager of Construction Services from 2008 to 2012. Russ then served as the Regional Manager of Construction Services from 2012 to 2014.
Currently, Russ is working at GBMC HealthCare. Russ started as a Capital Projects Manager from 2014 to 2016, and then became the Manager of Capital Resources from 2016 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Director of Facility Planning, Design & Construction. Currently, Russ serves as the Senior Director of Planning Design & Energy Management at GBMC HealthCare. In this role, they are responsible for various tasks including managing construction projects and budgets, overseeing project managers, and developing energy efficiency projects. Russ also manages the Fitness and Wellness Center, including its operations and staff.
Russ Sadler has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from American Public University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix from 2012 to 2015. In 2008 to 2011, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations also at the University of Phoenix. Their education history started with an Associate's degree in Architectural Design from the Community College of Baltimore County, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000.
