James J. Spinelli, ChFC®, AIF® has a range of diverse work experience. James J. founded Great Valley Advisor Group in 2014 and currently serves as the Founder and COO. At Great Valley, they work as a full-service Registered Investment Advisor. In 2016, they founded AdvisorBOB and serves as the CEO. In 2019, they joined Stonebridge Wealth Management as a Partner, where they focus on providing customized portfolio and investment solutions to high net-worth individuals. James J. was also a Founding Partner at Birch Benefits from 2018 to 2020, overseeing operations. Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, James worked at Comcast from 2010 to 2013, initially as a Financial & Information Systems Analyst and later promoted to Senior Financial & Information Systems Analyst, leading a team in producing detailed financial and operational reports.

James J. Spinelli, ChFC®, AIF® completed their Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Information Science (MSIS) degree from Penn State University between 2009 and 2012. James J. also holds a Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems from Penn State University, which they earned from 2004 to 2008. James completed their secondary education at Malvern Preparatory School from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their education, they have acquired several certifications, including AIF from Fi360 in 2018, Series 63 and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2015, and Series 65 from FINRA in 2014.
