Matthew Barkley, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Great Southern Wood Preserving, overseeing HR and Safety functions for 1,900 team members across 20 U.S. locations since July 2022. Prior to this, Matthew held senior HR leadership positions at W.C. Bradley Co. as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, where strategic HR initiatives supported the organization's business goals from September 2016 to June 2022. Matthew's extensive experience includes roles at Stanley Black & Decker, Oshkosh Corporation, JLG Industries, and Schneider Electric, focusing on talent management, organizational structure, and employee engagement. An alumnus of West Virginia University, Matthew earned a Master of Science in Industrial Relations and Human Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration specializing in Human Resources Management.
