Ryan Kammer is a Carbon Management Research Manager at the Great Plains Institute since July 2022, with a strong background in geology and carbon capture research. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Geologist at the Indiana Geological and Water Survey from August 2017 to August 2022, where work focused on CO2 injection in geological reservoirs and enhanced hydrocarbon recovery modeling. Ryan Kammer completed roles as a Research Assistant involved in CCUS projects and conducting research on deep saline formations during a fellowship with the U.S. Department of Energy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Wheaton College, as well as a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Indiana University Bloomington.
