Ben Atkinson MSc ANutr is an experienced professional in research communications and engagement, currently serving as the Head of Research Communications and Engagement at Breast Cancer Now since April 2024. At the NNEdPro Global Centre for Nutrition and Health, Ben has worked as a Communications Advisor since March 2020, focusing on generating innovative nutrition content and enhancing scientific communication accessibility. As the Founder and Podcast Host of Functional Health Info, Ben produces "The Functional Health Podcast," which aims to highlight evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine. Previous roles include Communications Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, Research Communications Officer at the MS Society, and Research Assistant at The Nutrition Society. Ben holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from King's College London and has also completed the People Leadership Programme at Multiverse and a Post Graduate in Personalised Nutrition from CNELM. Ben's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Oxford Brookes University.
