Thanh Tran is currently a Semiconductor Process Engineer Intern at Great Lakes Crystal Technologies, with experience in ion source enhanced sputtering growth of transparent conductive thin films as a PhD candidate at Michigan State University. Previous roles include Research and Teaching Assistant at Vietnamese-German University, focusing on wind turbine design and manufacturing for Vietnam, and Materials and Structures Engineer at Viettel Aerospace Institute - VTX, specializing in thermal insulation for engines. Early career experience includes a position in Production Engineering at Meiko Electronics Vietnam, setting up conditions for the solder mask process in PCB manufacturing. Thanh Tran holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
