Brian Schuster, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and corporate credit research. Currently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager at Great Lakes Advisors since May 2018, Brian has a strong track record of managing strategies across the yield curve that consistently outperform peers and benchmarks. Prior roles include Senior Portfolio Manager at Ziegler Capital Management and ASNY Asset Management, where Brian also specialized in corporate credit research and established risk management frameworks. Earlier in the career, Brian held positions at Fort Sheridan Advisors, Pine River Capital Management, Credit Agricole, PPM America, and Stratford Advisory Group Inc., gaining expertise in risk management and investment analysis. Educational credentials include an MBA with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS with high honors from DePaul University.
