Stuart Kronick is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and solar project development. Currently serving as Managing Director at Great Elm Capital Management, Inc. since January 2024, Stuart co-founded Steamboat Solar LLC in December 2018, focusing on structuring, financing, and managing commercial solar projects. Previously, Stuart co-founded VMAC LLC, a rideshare vehicle lease provider, and held various leadership roles at Jefferies, including Managing Director, where responsibilities encompassed structured finance and mortgage risk management. Additionally, Stuart was Managing Director at RBS Greenwich Capital and began a career at Bloomberg LP as a programmer, specializing in mortgage-backed securities. Stuart earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Cornell University.
