Mary Lee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mary began their career as an Intern Reporter at Headline Daily, Sing Tao News Operation Limited in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at The University of Hong Kong, where they provided research support, managed social media accounts, and designed event graphics. That same year, they also briefly worked as a Content Executive at I Love Limited.

In 2017, Mary joined Amnesty International as a Regional Content Assistant, where they initiated and developed projects and articles featured on their website. Mary then interned at Newgate Communications in 2018.

In 2020, Mary worked as an Account Executive at Woodrow, and in 2021, they moved on to Grayling where they held various positions, including Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, Account Manager, and their current role as Senior Account Manager.

Mary Lee completed their Bachelor of Journalism degree in Global Creative Industries at The University of Hong Kong from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they attended Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole for an International Semester focused on Journalism, Multimedia, and World Politics. Mary later pursued their MSc in Global Governance and Ethics at UCL from 2018 to 2019.
