Andrew Henderson has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andrew started their career in 2011 as a Caseworker/Constituency Officer to Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP at The Scottish Parliament. Andrew then worked as Deputy Office Manager to Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP from 2014 to 2014. In 2015, Andrew joined Scottish Global Forum as a Development Manager, and later that year, they started working at The Scottish Parliament again, this time as Parliamentary Assistant to Alex Neil MSP for a brief period of time. In 2015, they became the Office Manager to Alex Neil MSP and then transitioned to the role of Head of Office to Alex Neil MSP in 2021. Andrew also worked as the Press & Public Affairs Manager at Scottish Land & Estates from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are an Account Manager at Grayling, starting from February 2023.

Andrew Henderson's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Politics from the University of Dundee, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Letters (M.Litt) degree in Terrorism Studies at the University of St Andrews from 2010 to 2011.
