Terry H. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the electrical and construction industry. Starting in 2013, Terry worked as an Electrician for Fagen Inc., where they played a significant role in the construction of a biomass power plant. Terry then joined MMR Group as an Electrical Foreman, overseeing the construction of a wood-burning power plant and later leading the electrical aspects of the Puritan Re-purposing project. Terry also worked as a Technical Recruiter at Fluor Corporation before taking on the role of QC Inspector & Handover Lead at the NOVO NORDISK Diabetes facility. At Gemma Power Systems, Terry served as an Industrial Electrician, leading fire protection system installation. Terry then joined Fluor Corporation once again as a QA/QC Electrical Foreman. In 2020, Terry worked as a Quality Assurance Quality Control Inspector for Cooper Electrical Construction Company and completed a role as QA/QC Electrical Foreman at Starr Electric Company, Inc. In their most recent position as an Electrical Foreman at Crowder, Terry contributed to the construction of a water treatment facility. Terry is currently serving as an Assistant Site Manager at Gray.
Terry H. began their education in 1980 by completing US Navy Basic Training in San Diego, where they received a degree in US Navy E-3 Advancement with a focus on Electrical/Electronics Maintenance & Repair Technology.
From 1980 to 1986, Terry attended the United States Navy Guided Missile School and Fleet Operations aboard DDG-39 USS Macdonough. During this time, they pursued an Advanced Electronics/Electrical Theory degree, specializing in Advanced Electronics, Microwave Theory, and Physics of wave propagation.
In 1987, Terry enrolled in Western Carolina University, where they studied English Literature and Journalism. Terry graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990.
In 2008, Terry pursued further education at NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research). However, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for their time at NCCER. Terry continued their education at NCCER until 2019.
Additionally, Terry has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they became a qualified NCCER Craft Instructor in Electrical, followed by receiving NCCER+ Electrician certification in 2010.
