Troy Murray has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. In 2012, they started their career at Abso Lutely Productions, working as an intern, goffer, and production assistant. Troy gained practical experience behind the camera and on set. In 2016, Troy founded Rudimental Inc, an umbrella corporation for several entities powered by Ethereum. Troy took on the role of founder and oversaw the operations of Rudimental, Rudimental Media, and Rudimental Exchange.

Continuing their entrepreneurial journey, Troy co-founded Breaker in 2017, a decentralized entertainment company where producers are also involved in distribution, marketing, and finance. As the Director of Strategy, they played a key role in shaping the company's vision and approach.

In 2019, Troy joined the snglsDAO Foundation as a Supervisor and Technical Architect. This non-profit governance organization guided the development of the SNGLS Media Distribution Protocol and upheld the principles of decentralization.

From 2020 to 2021, Troy was a Co-Founder at BarnBridge, contributing to the development of the company. In 2021, they co-founded Universe XYZ, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2023.

Troy's most recent ventures include co-founding Graviton in 2022, where they hold the role of Co-Founder and CEO, and Q.xyz, where they are also a Co-Founder and CSO. These positions demonstrate their continued involvement in innovative startups as a leader and strategic planner.

Troy Murray pursued higher education from 2001 to 2005 at Gonzaga University, where they obtained a degree in Political Science and Philosophy. During their time at Gonzaga, Troy focused on Communication and Media Studies as their field of study.
