Emma Leavy

Emma Leavy has a diverse work experience. Emma started their career as an Analyst at McChrystal Group, where they implemented leadership development and strategic planning projects for tech sector clients in the US and Asia. Emma then moved on to work as an Assistant Director at Quetzaltrekkers Leon, managing all business operations for a revenue-generating nonprofit in the tourism sector. Emma later joined the Clinton Global Initiative, first as a Working Group Associate, where they set strategic priorities and facilitated discussions, and then as an Account Manager, managing a membership portfolio of corporate and high-net-worth individuals. Emma then took on the role of Grants Manager at Comic Relief USA, overseeing grant-making strategy and launching an Opportunity Fund. Emma eventually became the Director of Grants Programs, directing the grant-making strategy of the Red Nose Day Fund. Emma has also worked as a Principal at the Haas Sustainable Investment Fund, managing a $4.5m ESG fund. Emma most recently worked at Village Capital as an Advisor for the Climate Justice for Migrants & Communities of Color Accelerator, providing funding and support to early-stage startups. Currently, they are serving as a Principal at Gratitude Railroad, leading direct investing and managing the portfolio.

Emma Leavy completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of California, Berkeley from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of St Andrews. Emma also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University.
