Derek Shirey is an experienced Software Development Engineer at Graphite GTC, where responsibilities include documenting systems before development, organizing teams, distributing tasks, and ensuring project deadlines are met, alongside active development work using the in-house IDE. Previously, Derek held positions as a Junior Software Developer focused on User Interface development and as an Intern assisting a Senior Software Developer in front-end development with technologies such as C#, HTML, and Javascript. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lab Consultant at Temple University, providing technical assistance to students. Derek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Temple University, attained in 2013.
