Carlos Carrillo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, innovation management, and strategic business leadership across multiple industries. Currently serving as Vice President of New Business & Open Innovation at Graphic Packaging International, LLC, Carlos has previously held senior roles at Mohawk Industries and INVISTA, where responsibilities included directing R&D efforts and managing product innovation. With a PhD in Forest Biomaterials from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Georgia Tech, Carlos also has a solid academic background, having served as an Associate Professor at the University of the Andes in Venezuela and a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at NC State.
