Burak Arikan is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience as a founder, artist, educator, designer, and researcher. Since March 2011, Burak Arikan has been the founder of Graph Commons, a platform that facilitates the mapping and analysis of data networks to help communities visualize complex relationships. As an artist, Burak Arikan focuses on complex networks and societal issues, producing works that have been showcased in prestigious venues worldwide, including MOMA and the Venice Architecture Biennale. Additionally, Burak Arikan has contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty member at NYU Tisch and has held positions at MIT, where innovative software maps and online art economies were developed. Burak Arikan holds degrees in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT, Visual Communication Design from Istanbul Bilgi University, and Civil Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
