Sailatha Polana has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sailatha started their career as a Research And Development Chemist at Sreeni labs Private Limited from August 2010 to June 2012. Sailatha then worked as an IPR Officer- API at NATCO Pharma from May 2014 to August 2015. After that, they joined Lupin as a Research associate in Intellectual property rights API-IPMG from September 2015 to November 2018. Currently, they are working at Granules India Limited. Sailatha has held various roles at Granules India Limited including Senior Executive - Intellectual Property Management from February 2019 to May 2022, Assistant Manager in Intellectual Property Management-API from June 2022 to present, and Assistant Manager from November 2022 to present.

Sailatha Polana obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Annantha Law College between the years 2019 and 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Andhra University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010.
