Karen Cross, Ph.D., is an experienced academic and consultant currently serving as Founder and Research & Insights Lead at Healing Media since May 2022. In addition, Karen is a Senior Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Roehampton, contributing to the School of Arts and the Centre for Research in Arts and Creative Exchange, while also holding roles as a Senior Lecturer in Media and Culture and Programme Leader. Karen is actively engaged in research, grant applications, and curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Other current roles include Executive Coach and Senior Consultant at CCL Coaching Centred Leadership, Consultant for GrantTree, Associate Consultant at Inspirational Development Group, and Associate Stakeholder Workshop Facilitator at EQ Communications. Karen's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies from the University of East London, a Master of Science in Social Research Methods from The Open University, and an MA in Women's Studies from The University of Manchester, along with a Certificate in UX Design from King's College London, expected to complete in June 2024.
