Bao-Long Chu has over two decades of experience in arts and culture, currently serving as Program Director for Arts and Parks at Houston Endowment since June 2015, where previous roles included Senior Program Officer and Program Officer. In addition to this role, Bao-Long Chu contributes to Grantmakers in the Arts as a member of the Board of Directors, and as Treasurer and on the Nominations Committee since January 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director and Program Director at Writers in the Schools from June 1997 to June 2015. Academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a focus on Poetry from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Houston Christian University.
