Vanessa ZX Wu is an experienced professional in the actuarial field, currently serving as an Actuarial & Risk Assistant Manager at Grant Thornton UK LLP since July 2022. Previously, Vanessa held the title of Senior Actuarial Consultant and Actuarial Consultant at EY from January 2019 to June 2022. Prior roles include Teaching Assistant positions at the University of Waterloo and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as internships in the Actuarial Departments at China Pacific Insurance Company and PwC. Vanessa earned a Master of Mathematics in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
