Karen Sullivan currently serves as a Duke of Edinburgh Award Leader at The Duke of Edinburgh's Hillary Award and is part of the Local Organising Committee for Youth Search and Rescue, both roles started in 2024. With extensive experience in tax consulting, Karen has held positions such as Senior Manager of Tax at Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd since January 2022, and previously served as Tax Manager at Nexia New Zealand and Senior Associate at Tomlinson Law. Earlier career highlights include Senior Consultant - Tax at Polson Higgs and Manager - Tax Advisory at Crowe Horwath New Zealand. Karen’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago, along with additional studies at IPLS and Roncalli College.
