Scoop Welch has held various positions throughout their career. Scoop began as a Sales Coordinator at Bay Cable Advertising in 1996 and later became a Regional Account Manager at Jupiter Research. In 2002, they joined Tuition Management Systems as an Account Manager. From 2004 to 2006, Scoop worked as a Sales Manager at Strategic Sales Services. In 2006, they became the Business Development Director at House Party. In 2008, Scoop started their own business, Earth & Sky Yoga Center, where they served as the Owner until 2009. Currently, Scoop is employed at Granite United Way, where they have held various roles including Director of Resource Development, Director of Major Gifts, Area Director, Vice President of Regional Operations, and currently, Senior Vice President of Corporate Engagement.

Scoop Welch obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire, completing the program between the years 1991 and 1995.
