Stephanie Cann currently serves as the Superintendent of Granite City CUSD 9 School District, a position held since July 2020. Prior to this, Stephanie Cann was an instructor and supervisor in the Teaching and Learning Department at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from January 2019 to July 2020. Previous roles include Development Director for the Foster Care Initiative at Bon Eau Foundation and Principal at Wolf Ridge Elementary & Junior High in Bunker Hill CUSD #8. Additional experience includes Assistant Principal at RCUSD #1 and a High School Teacher/Department Chair at Roxana Community School District #1. Stephanie Cann's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from McKendree University, superintendent certification, and various degrees focusing on educational administration and curriculum and instruction.
