Meriem Zhang began their professional career in 2019 as an Internship Initiation at U-Accelerator, where they identified innovations to help companies enrich their range of products and services or improve their efficiency. Meriem then moved to Expensya in 2020, where they held roles as a Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, and Quality Assurance Intern. As a Software Engineer, they implemented new features, while responding to customer satisfaction, migrated to newer technologies, and implemented thorough unit tests. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, they designed, developed, and executed automated tests, developed an API to ease communication, and improved manual testing. Finally, in 2022, Meriem began working as a Full-stack Developer at Graneet.

Meriem Zhang obtained their High School Diploma from Lycee L'Aouina in 2017 after studying Mathematics. Meriem then went on to pursue an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from INSAT - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie, which they completed in 2022. Additionally, Meriem has obtained various certifications from Coursera and Microsoft, including Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: Angular, HTML, CSS, and Javascript for Web Developers, 2020 Imagine Cup EMEA Final - Imagine Cup World Finalist, and Imagine Cup Regional Finalist – 2020 Imagine Cup EMEA Online Semifinals.
