Jimmy Zhu's work experience includes a role as a Support Engineer at Grandstream Networks starting in April 2017. In this position, they focused on increasing security efforts in IPPBX and VoIP gateway offerings to maintain compliance with RFC and PCI DSS. Jimmy also played a role in implementing emergency calling functionality to ensure compliance with Kari's Law and Ray Baum's Act. Additionally, Jimmy optimized the localization processes for product web UI text updates, resulting in a 30% decrease in task completion time. Prior to their time at Grandstream Networks, they worked as a Team Member at Target from June 2015 to February 2017. Jimmy also held a summer internship position at DOCOMO PACIFIC in July 2014. Jimmy's earliest work experience was as an Administrative Assistant at ASC Trust Corporation from August 2011 to September 2012.

Jimmy Zhu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued General Education at the University of Guam from 2011 to 2013. Jimmy completed their high school education in General Education at Harvest Christian Academy from 2007 to 2011.
