Xavier Herrera has a diverse work experience in various roles. Xavier currently works as a Senior Data Engineer at Grandata since August 2022. Previously, they worked as a Data Engineer at Bluetab, an IBM Company, from March 2021 to July 2022, where they focused on Python and Scala big data development for BBVA's Finance and Marketing processes. Before that, they were a System Analyst at Canvia from December 2019 to March 2021, where they worked on a complex project involving data modeling, database implementation, and mobile tool development for the Fish Oil Processing's audit tasks. Prior to Canvia, Xavier worked as a System Analyst at International Potato Center (CIP) from October 2018 to December 2019, where they developed an information management system for the center's plants pathology lab. Xavier's career has been centered around data engineering and system analysis in various industries.

Xavier Herrera completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad ESAN, starting in 2017 and graduating in 2020. Prior to that, they attended CEP Jean Calvin Lefranc, where they obtained a Graduate degree between 1997 and 2001. Xavier has also earned several certifications, including "Machine Learning Data Lifecycle in Production" and "Introduction to Machine Learning in Production" from Coursera in February 2023 and January 2023, respectively. Xavier has additional certifications in areas such as data analysis, Google data analytics, ETL and data pipelines, and problem-solving using computational thinking, all obtained between 2021 and 2022. Xavier also achieved an advanced level of fluency in English estimated by Duolingo in November 2015.
