Mat Travizano is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and complex systems. Currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley since October 2021, Mat also holds the position of Founder & Managing Partner at Sur Ventures since July 2021. Mat has a rich entrepreneurial background, having founded and led several companies, including GranData where Mat serves as Founder & Chairman and CEO, as well as Binaria ./ Innovative Science from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Mat was a Co-Founder & CSO at Underground Security Systems Research from 1998 to 2001. Mat's academic foundation originated from the University of Buenos Aires, where studies were completed between 1999 and 2004.
