Erica R. Hamilton is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Interim Vice Provost for the Graduate School and as an Associate Professor at Grand Valley State University since 2014, Erica teaches undergraduate and graduate courses while focusing on teacher education and community collaboration. Previously held roles include Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of curriculum development, distance education, dual enrollment agreements, and university program review processes. Erica's academic journey includes a PhD in Curriculum, Teaching, and Educational Policy from Michigan State University, complemented by earlier teaching experience as an English teacher at Zeeland Public Schools and a rich background in educational research.
