Richard Lozada is an experienced professional in the fields of criminal justice and real estate. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at Hillsborough Community College since August 2016, Richard also works as a Realtor Associate at Grand Realty of America since May 2020. Richard's academic involvement includes previous adjunct professor positions at Seminole State College of Florida and the University of Tampa. Richard's extensive law enforcement career includes notable roles at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office as Recruitment and Background Investigations Manager, and various positions at the U.S. Customs Service, culminating as Deputy Special Agent in Charge. Richard holds multiple degrees, including an MS in Management from National Louis University and an MS in Criminal Justice from Nova Southeastern University, complemented by executive training from Harvard University’s JFK School of Government.
