Megan Biggins serves as the Director of Public Services at Grand Rapids Public Library since October 2021, overseeing operations and personnel for a diverse urban library system, focusing on strategic planning, programming oversight, budget management, staff development, and cross-departmental collaboration. Prior experience includes roles as Library Branch Manager and Youth Services Librarian at Arlington County from April 2014 to October 2021, where Megan supported patrons across age groups and managed children's and teen literature collections. Additionally, positions held at DC Public Library from October 2011 to April 2014 involved responsibilities as a Children's and Teen Librarian and Library Associate, providing reference desk support and managing teen collections. Megan Biggins holds a Master's degree in Library & Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology & Media Studies, both from The Catholic University of America.
