Linda Turnquest has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Linda started their career at Chevron International Oil (Bahamas) Limited as a Staff Accountant and Inventory Accountant. Linda then moved on to Bahamas Oil Refining Company, where they served as a Management Accountant and Computer Coordinator, overseeing monthly financial reporting and administering the refinery's computer system.

In 1997, Linda joined Freeport Harbour Company as a Management Accountant, responsible for overseeing accounting processes for the Freeport Container Port. Linda provided regular financial reporting to management at Hutchison UK and Hong Kong based Hutchison Port Holdings and prepared operating/capital expense budgets.

In 2001, Linda joined Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited as Finance Manager and was subsequently promoted to Finance/IT Manager. In 2012, they were promoted to the position of Director of Finance. Linda currently holds the role of Chief Financial Officer at Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited.

Linda Turnquest earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Houston between 1982 and 1984. Prior to that, they studied Accounting at Marygrove College from 1980 to 1982. In 2014, Linda received a Certificate of Completion in AMA's Insurance and Risk Management Workshop from the American Management Association.
