Sk. Iftekhar Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sk. Iftekhar started their career at Reckitt Benckiser as a Territory Manager from August 2004 to May 2006. In this role, they achieved sales targets, trained the distributor field force, and maintained business relationships with traders.
Afterwards, Sk. Iftekhar Ahmed joined Grameenphone Ltd in May 2006 as an Officer in Trade Marketing. During their tenure until April 2008, they ensured the proper execution of campaigns, roadshows, and merchandising activities for the retail channel, provided support to regional teams, and evaluated implementation.
Sk. Iftekhar continued their journey at Grameenphone Ltd and held various positions from Deputy Manager Merchandising & POSM Management (November 2008-April 2010) to Head of Ground Level Marketing (September 2013-present) and Regional Head (November 2019-August 2023). These roles involved developing strategies for ground level marketing, distribution development and analytics, distribution quality, trade marketing operations, and channel merchandising.
